Martha Colby is one of the first cellists to graduate from Berklee College of Music with a degree in performance.

She currently accompanies many singer songwriters, and performs regularly with the bands Pharoah's Daughter and Joe Gallant's Illuminati as well as Kitty Brazelton's Dadadah.

She also leads two ensembles of her own: The Martha Colby Band and Thing Three.
