J.D. Quartet live

Jesse Dulman studied composition with Kitty Brazelton from 1997-1999 at LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts and the Performing Arts where Brazelton has been BMI Foundation's Composer-In-Residence since 1996.

He made this recording and demo CD in spring 1999 at Brazelton's suggestion and with the help of teacher and drummer Gary Fogel shortly before Jesse graduated from LaGuardia H.S. . Dulman won Down Beat's "Best Extended Jazz Composition by a High School Student" in fall 1998, and an ASCAP Young Composer Award in Spring 1999.
